(The video clicks on to show Sayaka, sometime around mid-afternoon with a sheepish smile and a somewhat nervous expression. After talking it over with Madoka, both are on their way back to Pewter to ensure she gets her badge from Brock. On the way, however...oh, look! She has a Pokemon egg in her hands.)

So...I got myself a Pokemon egg a couple days ago, and it's not mine! I-I kinda bought it for Madoka, and I have no clue how to give it to her. I can't just give it to her while we're training or eating! Whoever he -or she- will be, this will be her Pokemon to take care of! She's my best friend, always has been since we were kids...and for a month or so now, it's just been the two of us. I wanted to get her something nice in case...something happened...

(She clears her throat and holds up the egg so it can clearly be seen before going on.)

It's hard being a hero for justice...when sudden obstacles are thrown in your way, you know? We're doing our best, and I guess that's all I can do -right?

(Sayaka smiles a little wider than before while holding the egg up again before the screen blacks out.)

(Sayaka's face appears on the screen, very excited and pleased with recent events.)

Okay, so question: where do you go with your friends to celebrate a super-awesome, heroic moment in Cerulean? 'Cause I got my CASCADE Badge! And it was all thanks to the hard work of Luxray, but having their support helped lots, too.

But, seriously; where do you go to celebrate? It's not as big as other cities I've seen on TV at the Center or the map, but there's gotta be somewhere to go here. (She waits a moment or two, then the feed clicks off.)

(The PokeGear clicks on to show Sayaka with a confused look on her face, yet a small smile as well. Since the prom came and went, she trekked with her friends from Pallet through Viridian and were on their way to Pewter.)

So, just one question for anyone who's got a penguin for a Pokemon -they don't have to be a starter at all!- I know penguins get pretty big back home, but they don't get this big...do they? Ehehehe~

(The Gear swivels over to Sayaka's right to show that Squire had evolved to Prinplup, and he was currently sleeping against a tree trunk.)

Should I expect him to sleep like this all the time?

(Probably. He takes after his trainer, naturally.)

(The Gear clicks on after a long moment of seeing nothing but static. Soon enough, a shot of blue hair is visible and Sayaka Miki is seen grinning on the screen.)

…I know I’m not dreaming, because I can feel my heartbeat! I have a heartbeat! Hello out there! Miki Sayaka, knight of justice is here! Oh, wait a moment… (She glances down toward her feet for a moment, bending down to pet whatever it is before getting up and is in view once again. This time, she has an added penguin Pokemon on her shoulder, but her expression’s quite sheepish.)

Another reason I know I’m not dreaming? This little one! He wasn’t here before, or maybe he was and I got pulled here? Anyway, if anyone’s heard of someone named Madoka or Tomoe-san…let them know Sayaka’s here? Also, finding out why we’re here would be a big help too; not sure if I can trust anything a professor or someone who says she's my mom says yet. Huh? Wait a second-!

Piplup Pip!

(The Pokemon from earlier? Suddenly jumps right off Sayaka’s shoulder in search of nearby food and a flock of Pidgeys fly behind her a few seconds later!)

Uh…gotta go! Wait – come back! We'll need more than just you to get through this! (The feed cuts.)
